  禅宗とは…(Wat's Zen?)

當寺は、山梨県の東部、聖徳太子の愛馬｢甲斐の黒駒｣を産した御坂町黒駒の鎌倉街道沿いに、貞和三年(1347)、明叟斉哲和尚を開山とし、従五位下豆州太守(伊豆国守護職)嶺翁院殿相岩道無大居士(大久保忠高?といわれていますが不詳)により創建されました。以来31世の歴代和尚により670年以上に亘り、甲州の歴代領主や檀信徒の暖かい護持により、法灯が綿々と受け継がれて参りました。春は桜や桃の花咲く桃源郷と詠われ、夏は紫陽花の花が満開となり、秋は御坂山塊全山が燃えるような紅葉となり、冬は金川のせせらぎのみが聞こえるだけのただただ静かな山寺でございます。

This temple is located eastern yamanashi pref ,it was founded more than 670 years ago. since then it has been maintained light of the Dharma by successive lords and local residents.
In spring, it's a peach place, in summer,hydrangeas bloom; in autmn, the leaves change color ; in winter, all you can hear is the qiet murmur of the Kane River.
